About this tour
This is bike hire rather than a guided tour. You collect an electric bike at Headcorn Airfield, near Maidstone, with a helmet, lock, panniers and route maps, and ride marked routes on your own from 10am until 4pm. A popular route goes round the Weald to local vineyards for a tour and tasting. Others pass castles, gardens, a brewery and villages.
There is a café, a pub and toilets at the airfield, parking on site, and a pickup from Headcorn station.
Entrance fees are not included, so vineyard tastings and castle tickets are extra and worth booking ahead. The motor assist evens out different fitness levels, so a mixed group can ride together. Think about how much you drink if you are riding back.
Best for: independent couples or groups who like to plan their own day and want to link a vineyard or two by bike.

We are based at Headcorn Airfield. Parking is available or we do pick up from Headcorn Station. There is a cafe, pub and toilets on site. Tours start at 10am and finish at 4pm
