Kent vineyards to visit

All 17 Kent vineyards that welcome visitors, on one map and in one list, grouped by area. Each area has its own page with full visiting details and how to plan a day there.

Kent wine in brief

  • Kent’s vineyards sit on the chalk of the North Downs and the clay and sand of the Weald, so the county makes both crisp sparkling wine and aromatic still whites such as Bacchus and Ortega.
  • Nine belong to the Wine Garden of England, Kent’s own group of producers: Balfour, Biddenden, Chapel Down, Domaine Evremond, Gusbourne, Simpsons’, Squerryes, Westwell and Yotes Court.
  • Several are an easy trip by train: The Mount from Shoreham, Westwell from Charing, Warehorne from Ham Street, Domaine Evremond from Chilham, and Balfour by free shuttle from Marden between Friday and Sunday.
